Most meats and fish are protein high, as are quite a few grains, especially Quinoa. If you look at any diet book of the “low carb” family you’ll find a lot of high protein recipes.

Hi jackpegram- meat, fish are good. If you are a vegetarian then soya beans are a good source, as is milk. Protein powder is probably good as a supplement for people who do loads of exercise (which counts me out), but these other protein sources are probably better ‘all rounders’.

      Hope that answers your question!

Yup, like Peter and Paul said, meat and fish – also eggs! Milk, mushrooms and beans are good too – many vegetarians eat tofu for protein.

Any of the above are probably more interesting to eat than protein powder! Plus they also have lots of other nutrients besides protein – carbohydrates, fat, vitamins and minerals, all of which you need – so they’re much better for a balanced diet!
