no more wars or diseases (apart from the ones which we can live with, like colds etc.)
A predictable climate where England only had rain on mondays
No more relying on fossil fuels- this really concerns me
A lab where all my experiments worked first time
Does this have to be realistic? Because I want dragons in my utopia.
I think my vision of utopia would be where everyone cared about everyone else. No wars, no crime, no corruption, no manipulation. If you saw someone who needed help, you’d help them, without hesitation. You’d be able to trust that people meant what they said, and they wouldn’t try to hurt you. You’d never get too stressed out over any problem, because you’d know that people – not just your family and friends, but everyone – will help you as much as they can when you really need it. If everyone lived their lives without thinking about making a profit off someone else’s misfortune, 99%* of the world’s problems would be solved.
*Including a lot of disease! There are many diseases that can already be cured, but the drugs are too expensive for the people who need them. Polio, for example – many countries, including the UK, are rich enough to single-handedly provide all the drugs we need to wipe polio off the face of the earth forever. But still many children become crippled every year because of polio. Why?
AND we’d have dragons, beautiful huge dragons in every colour, flying about in the sky. Maybe we could make friends with them. Even ride them. How awesome would that be?
