Hi thomascockram9- a long story, but I came here because I wanted to (originally) be a marine biologist. Eventually I became a microbiologist, and plymouth is a good place to learn both- we have excellent facilities and I can do ‘marine microbiology’ so get to do both sometimes as part of my work. Also, it’s by the sea and near cornwall, so I love living here! I am from London, and while I love London, I prefer here.
